WEDDING FLOWERS FOR LISA + CHRISTOPHER
A PRETTY RUSTIC WEDDING IN DUSTY PLUM, MAUVE, SLATE BLUE AND OLIVE WITH A WILDFLOWER FLAIR.
Set in the breathtaking wilderness of North Forty Escapes, this wedding is all about nature and wildness formalized with soft fabrics, vintage glass bottles and lush garden blooms. Every bit of floral will come together to compliment the stylings of Sage & Thistle Events with romantic bohemian and wildflower flourishes.
Floral Pieces & Decor
The ceremony itself, set in the lush green meadow of the Aspen Grove at North Forty Escapes will be offset by an aspen wedding arch laced with foraged greenery in silvery olive plus lush garden blooms like roses, hydrangea, lavender and dahlia in creme, plum, mauve and olive. Vintage glass and wildflowers line the aisles and antiqued crates hold billowing arrangements. A touch of silvery greens on the welcome sign sets the stage.
Wedding party flowers provide splashes of color and vibrance beginning with the wedding bouquet in a hand gathered wild organic shape. Colors are creme, bone, plum, mauve, slate blue and olive. Possible flowers include California garden roses, hellebore, poppy, wildflower inspired orlaya, phlox, dahlia, local lavender and chocolate cosmos. Silvery green olive and gunni eucalyptus plus touches of thistle provide duskier tones of slate and sage.
Wearables lean towards the minimal with light touches of textural blueberry and thistle backed by silvery green olive and sage.
The reception is all about bringing the outdoors in with rustic greenery, vintage glass and lacy wildflowers with a low formalized wild centerpiece in wildflowers and garden blooms for the head table plus assorted textures and colors of wildflowers in vintage glass bottles for guest tables.
