WILD FLORA WORKSHOPS

In Partnership with Harmon’s City Creek

In each two hour course, we will utilize locally farmed and foraged floral to create beautiful, unique wilderness inspired arrangements using modern design techniques and foam-free sustainable methods.

All courses are intended for the novice designer and no prior floral experience is required. Each course is held live and in person and will include tools, materials, instruction and light refreshments.

WABI SABI CENTERPIECE

As the season fades from Autumn to Winter, my favorite style of arranging is inspired by the philosophy of Wabi Sabi which at it’s most simplistic is the art of embracing the imperfection of life.

For this course, we will learn how to arrange a simple, minimilstic piece utilizing foraged fall branches and a unique piece of pottery created just for us by local artist Adam Addley.

This course is intended for the novice designer and no prior floral experience is required. Tuition includes materials, instruction, light refreshments and your very own arrangement to take home.

WINTER FORAGED WREATHS

Learn three new ways to wreath you never thought of using anything BUT evergreens.

From dried grass to rose hips to bleached oak leaves, feathers and crystals, we’ll get creative and come out with as many types of wreaths as there are class attendees, none of which you’ve ever seen before. These wreaths will be Christmas appropriate but are built to last throughout the winter.

This course is intended for the novice designer and no prior floral experience is required. Tuition includes materials, instruction, light refreshments and your very own wreath to take home.
