If there's one thing I'd say to invest in outside of your venue and your photographer, it would be a good wedding planner. If you've got the budget for it, do yourself a favor and get help with the planning. If your budget is on the smaller end, consider at least a stylist to coordinate the look and many of the day-of details or at least a day of coordinator to work directly with all your vendors and your venue for the most seamless day that leaves you and your family and friends time to just breathe it all in.

Rustic styling, planning and day of coordination. Scalable packages for any budget.

I've worked with Katie Bushell of Havenwood Weddings on ten-hour-round-trip-day-long photo shoots, editorials for Salt Lake Bride & Groom magazine, intimate coffee shop weddings and Zion National Park elopements. Her style is unmistakable and her vision is impeccable. Drawing on an entire warehouse of priceless vintage rentals handed down from her grandfather, Katie has this uncanny talent for putting together what might at first appear to be just a pile of things into an unbelievably beautiful and stunning vision for your wedding day. She also offers services from full scale wedding planning to day of coordination and happily works with a range of budget levels. If you're into boho style and rustic warmth, she's your girl.

Full scale wedding planning and breathtaking style.

I met Braelynn of Belle Bodas this past wedding season when I was lucky enough to assist Mandy Ogaz of the Potted Pansy on a wedding at Studio 11. I was immediately taken in by the simplicity of her style choices, the warm wood farm tables, hand placed greenery and white washed backdrop of it all lit by warm candlelight. Not to mention the entirely separate room for cocktail hour in consideration of early arrivers. It was when she handed a neatly designed planning packet to Mandy, detailing the wedding from beginning to end that I was sold on the stylistic brilliance and organization levels of this sweet and driven lady. Oh, and did I mention she also speaks Spanish fluently? If you're looking for clean design, the very best in vendor selection and a day that will go off seamlessly and beautifully, give this lady a call.

Impeccable day of coordination and your own highly affordable personal wedding assistant.

This lady was absolutely instrumental at my own little farm wedding in northern Utah. All our family and friends came together that day to make our modest wedding the most brilliant and beautiful day possible. I still watch the videos of them setting up, some of them after having traveled so far, and it fills my heart to overflowing knowing how much I'm loved. That's why I will never forget how instrumental this woman was for our day. She kept the place clean, helped direct guests and even sent my family home early and cleaned up the venue entirely between herself and her single assistant. It was an absolutely essential service and ensured our day went off without a hitch.

Full scale wedding planning from beginning to end.

When I first met Erin from Canvas Weddings & Events I was blown away by her organization, professionalism and friendliness. Samantha, the bride, had an incredible vision for her wedding from beginning to end and Erin was so adept at creating the perfect day for her and her family through every detail from a dress shipped in by boat from Spain, to the most exquisite art gallery garden location at the Springville Art Museum to our smokey floral with foraged Apache Plume and big bold bone colored roses to magazine worthy photos. Canvas Weddings really is the dream team of wedding planners and I highly recommend them for couples who dream big about their wedding day.

Clean minimal styling and impeccable taste.

The fact that Erica Kopp of Stay Co. spent a full year developing her brand before officially launching her site and business speaks to the immaculate care and planning she puts into every project. I had the pleasure of working with her in a shoot last fall that has just been featured in a wedding publication (to be announced). Her style is absolute eye candy to the minimalist at heart. Clean lines, muted tones and a clear understanding of space and form make her one of the foremost wedding stylists in town. Even if you're not looking for a wedding stylist, be sure to follow her Instagram account for some daily social media eye-candy obsessions.
