GARDEN FORAGED FLOWER CROWNS

SUNDAY, JUNE 24 • 4:30-6:30 pm - $55 ($45 FOR EARLY BIRDS)

The fresh flower crown has been around for ages harkening from Greece to Ancient China. Not only is it a beautiful wedding accessory but it makes for a fun night out with friends. Consider a flower bar at your bridal shower or supplying a beautiful flower crown for a new mother at a baby shower. In this course we’ll learn the ins and outs of creating unique and unusual flower crowns including three ways - half greenery, delicate floral and full including garden blooms and foraged greens. This course is intended for the novice designer and no prior floral experience is required. Tuition includes materials, instruction and your very own flower crowns to take home.

Class located at Studio 1918 in downtown Salt Lake City.

Learn to create a stunning wild garden style centerpiece utilizing locally grown garden blooms and foraged greenery and texture. We’ll learn the basics of floral design plus how to source local flowers and greenery to the mechanics of arranging in a container using a pin frog. This course is intended for the novice designer and no prior floral experience is required. Tuition includes materials, instruction and your very own centerpiece to take home.

DELICATE DRIED FLORAL BOUQUETS

Sunday, Aug 5 • 4:30-6:30 pm - $65 ($55 FOR EARLY BIRDS)

With the heat comes the trouble of keeping wedding floral alive. One beautiful alternative is the dried floral bouquet. Mix in a little hardy fresh floral and you’ve got a unique and beautiful accessory for flower girls and bridesmaids. In this course we’ll learn the basics of constructing small bouquets utilizing dried foraged floral and fresh locally grown garden blooms plus how to tie with a bit of ribbon or twine. This course is intended for the novice designer and no prior floral experience is required. Tuition includes materials, instruction and your very own bouquet to take home.
